For all you Japanophile architects:

Steve Beimel a good friend and remarkably knowledgeable lover of Japanese crafts and founder of JapanCraft 21 is giving a series of free online presentations on the arts and crafts of Japan.

JapanCraft21’s mission is to revitalize traditional Japanese master crafts (dentou kougei) and has co-founded the School of Traditional Building Arts (Shin-Machiya Juku) in Kyoto to teach rapidly disappearing building skills to young working tradespeople (carpenters, plasterers, etc.)

*Instructions for joining JapanCraft21 can be found at www.japancraft21.com
