In order to protect the privacy of certain information provided in completing the Historic Japanese Building Survey, Kezurou-kai USA will adhere to the following policy.
Information provided under the headings labelled “Building/Structure,” “Additional Information,” and “Digital Info” will be accessible to the general public through the Kezurou-kai USA website’s Survey portal. The precise location of the subject building or structure will be accessible to the general public only if identified in the survey as a public garden, park, museum, or similar place.
Access to information provided under the headings “
Your Contact Details” and “
Institution/Owner” will be provided only to the following persons:
- The person who has submitted the survey
- The current owner or owner’s designated agent
- The current President and Secretary of Kezurou-kai USA
- The current Webmaster of Kezurou-kai USA
- The current Portal Manager for the Survey
- The current members of the Historic Japanese Building Survey Committee of Kezurou-kai USA
- The current designated representative of the North American Japanese Garden Association ?? (XX Should we provide a link to NAJGA? XX) ??
Information from “Your Contact Details” and “Institution/Owner” may be shared with persons other than those listed above only after due consideration by the person who submitted the survey, the owner or owner’s designated agent, and at least one other person named above.
